BHAKTAPUR: District Education Office, Bhaktapur, is going to award Rs 100,000 each to three secondary schools in Bhaktapur with outstanding academic performance.

Basu Higher Secondary School of Kalighat Byasi, Bageshwori Higher Secondary School of Chyamasingh and Devi Higher Secondary School of Tathali will be awarded with the cash prize.

Bal Mukunda Basukala, principal of BHSS, said that the award was being presented on the basis of the highest pass percentage in the SLC exam.

Basukala claimed that his school had the highest rate of pass percentage in SLC-2065.

“Last year Anjali Suwal of this school had scored the highest among the girls throughout the country,” Basukala added.
