We were pleasantly surprised by the number of phone calls we received asking us what story would we do this year. In keeping with our tradition of celebrating 1st April — All Fool’s Day — The Himalayan Times decided to come up with the Dharahara story since it has always been in the news.

A very Happy April Fools Day to all our readers. As someone once said, it is the ability to take a joke, not make one that proves you have a sense of humour. We hope we had you fooled. Dharahara stays where it is. Unless, of course, the authorities decide our story to be a great idea.
