The CPN-UML standing committee meeting held on Thursday said the dissolution of lower house is an unnatural step taken suddenly to evade parliament after seeing the possibility of serious discussions there on the situation following enforcement of emergency after the session last year.

The meeting came to the conclusion that the dissolution is a result of the intra-party squabbles of the Nepali Congress.

In view of the date fixed for the next general election, the standing committee has decided to call the central committee meeting on may 27, a press release signed by spokesman of the party Pradip Nepal stated.
