KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Legislature Parliament on Tuesday endorsed a condolence motion on the death of former CPN-UML lawmaker Sohan Prasad Chaudhary.

Chaudhary was elected to the House of Representatives in 1991 and 1999 from Bara Constituency No.2.

Chaudhary died of a chronic kidney disease on February 9, 2016.

Following the endorsement, the meeting was halted for 15 minutes.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the Parliament today and seek suggestions from Parliamentarians regarding his maiden India visit.

The Prime Minister is embarking on a six-day maiden India visit February 19.
