House passes amendment to Vehicle and Transport Management Bill
KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Sunday unanimously passed the Vehicle and Transport Management Bill (2nd Amendment), 2072.
The Parliament approved the Bill after a clause-wise discussion. Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak, had presented the Bill in the House.
Similarly, the meeting also approved the international agreement on becoming a state party of the International Coffee Agreement, 2007, the SAARC agreement on implementation of regional standards and the SAARC agreement on multi-arrangement on recognition on conformity assessment.
Meanwhile, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out letters sent by the Office of the President regarding different bills verified by the President.
The next meeting of the Parliament has been scheduled for September 27 at 11:00 am.
