HSEB staff want stir suppressors out
Kathmandu, June 20 :
Employees of the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) today submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister demanding stern action against those HSEB staffers suppressing the Janaandolan-II.
“A committee should be formed to investigate corruption and financial embezzlement that took place during the past four years,” the memorandum states.
The HSEB should be turned into an entirely academic place; all political appointees should be sacked and all working mechanisms formed as per the Education Act Amendment Ordinance should be scrapped, it says.
Education Minister Dr Mangal Siddhi Manandhar assured the HSEB employees that the government would look into the matter and take action against the guilty.
