The Hult Prize at IOE 2024 reached a successful conclusion, showcasing the innovative prowess of 11 competing teams in Lalitpur on Saturday.

Aditya Pandey, the campus director of the Hult Prize at IOE 2024, set the tone of the event with an inspiring speech, the press release issued by the Hult Prize said.

The event featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Barun Pandey, Co-Founder and CMO/COO at Naamche; Ashish Thakur, Chairman & Executive Director at Glocal Private Limited; Nirdesh Dwa, Founder of inGrails Pvt. Ltd.; and Dr. Sareesha Shrestha, a medical doctor, Miss Nepal Earth 2022, and founder of NGO, Sahayatri.

"The competition showcased diverse ideas, ranging from solutions for electric vehicle charging infrastructure to smart glasses for the blind community."

Following intense deliberation, team DRISHYA emerged victorious with their groundbreaking concept of smart glasses, offering revolutionary assistance to the visually impaired, it added.

HAWKEYE secured the first runner-up position with their innovative approach to traffic management, while team YONKO claimed the second runner-up spot with their novel parking management system.

The event concluded on a high note with a thought-provoking speech by Nirdesh Dwa, providing valuable insights into effective business pitching.
