Training plan put off

KATHMANDU: Central secretariat of the UML on Saturday decided to postpone the national-level cadres’ training programme scheduled for February 18 and 19 due to unavoidable circumstances. Party central committee member, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, said that the party was compelled to postpone the planned training in the capital due to the general strike called by Madhesi parties and groups in Tarai. He said the zonal-level cadres were supposed to take part in the programme in the run-up to the April 10 CA polls. — HNS
