Sandalwood seized

KATHMANDU: A team of Armed Police Force Nilbarahi Battalion in Balambu seized 8,255 kg of red sandalwood from the house of Radha Devi Sunuwar in Maitidevi early on Tuesday. According to a press release issued by the APF headquarters, the red sandalwood was stored under sa-cks of rice in the house. A Chinese woman has been arrested while house owner Sunuwar is at large. — HNS
