House panel’s meet

KATHMANDU: The parliamentarian State Affairs Committee on Wednesday begun clause-wise discussion on the management and utilisation of the funds that have come under the Nepal Trust 2007. The committee is likely to come up with a final decision on Thursday on how to utilise the funds, lawmaker Parsuram Meghi Gurung said on Wednesday. — HNS

Robber caught

KATHMANDU: Police arrested Adit Lama, 27, of Sindhupalchowk, while he was fleeing on a motorcycle after looting Rs 2 million from shop-owner Manoj Agrawal in Kuleshwor on Tuesday. Brandishing a pistol, Adit, along with Rigen Lama, 27, of Sindhupalchowk, and Bikash Lama, 25, of Kavre, had looted the cash and two mobile sets from Agrawal. — HNS
