29 held from casinos

Kathmandu: A police team deployed by the Metropolitan Police Range Hanumandhoka raided four casinos and arrested 29 Nepalis from two casinos on Wednesday night. Police had raided Casino Rad of Radisson Hotel, Lazimpat, Casino Venus of Malla Hotel, Lainchaur, Casino Royal of Yak and Yeti Hotel, Durbar Marga and the casino of Shangri-La Hotel, Lazimpat. According to the police, 26 Nepalis were arrested from Casino Royal and three from Casino Rad. Meanwhile, employees of Casino Venus of Malla Hotel were injured in a clash between the police at Lainchaur this morning. — HNS
