Scholars honoured

KATHMANDU: Chancellor of Nepalbhasha Academy Satya Mohan Joshi on Saturday honoured two personalities who have completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nepalbhasha. Chandraman Bajracharya and Tuyu Bahadur Maharjan were honoured for their doctorate researches on the novels by Dhuswan Sayami and Nepalbhasha grammar, respectively. Joshi also released a collection of short stories, Nhyaluwa, authored by 17 established and emerging women writers. — HNS

Body found

KATHMANDU: Body of a teenage girl was found in a jungle near Thankot on Saturday, police said. The decayed body was taken to TU Teaching Hospital for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched. — HNS
