Kidnapped rescued

Kathmandu: A police team from the Metropolitan Police Circle in Maharajgunj on Thursday rescued manpower agent Sabina Neupane, 22, who was kidnapped the same day. Bhupal Sunuwar, Yam Limbu and Prajjwal Limbu of Taplejung have been arrested in connection to the kidnapping, police said. Bhupal Sunuwar, Yam Limbu and Prajjwal Limbu of Taplejung had kidnapped Neupane, the owner of Triokon Manpower Agency, from Basundhara on Thursday, DSP Shushil Bhandari said. “Police, acting as soon as information was received about the kidnapping, managed to track down the kidnappers and rescued Neupane from Tokha,” Bhandari said, adding: “The team, however, could arrest only Prajjwal on that day.” Bhupal and Yam were arrested on Saturday, DSP Bhandari said. — HNS
