Seminar inaugurated
LALITPUR: Inaugurating the three-day international seminar on ‘social science in a multi-cultural world’, organised here on Monday by the Nepal Sociological and Anthropological Society (NSAS), Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang said: “The sociologists can play a key role in giving state restructuring a concrete shape.” President of the Society, Prof Santa Bahadur Gurung, said: “Some 85 papers will be presented at the seminar participated by 300 leading sociologists.” —RSS
Workshop begins
KATHMANDU: A five-day long international level workshop on Utilization of Bio-mass for Renewable Energy, began here from Monday. The workshop organised by the National Productivity and Economic Development Centre and assisted by the Asian Productivity Organisation , aims to discuss non-conventional sources of energy among others. — RSS
