3 caught with drugs

KATHMANDU: A police team from the Narcotic Drug Control Law enforcement Unit, New Baneshwor, on Monday arrested Budhe Lama, 22, from Dhading, with 98 grams of brown heroin from Manmaiju-1, Kathmandu. At Samakhusi, a police team arrested Usha Gurung, 22, and Ramita Shakya, 21, of Kathmandu with 15 pieces of Noophin, 11 pieces of Digzell and 3 syringes on Monday, the Valley Police said on Tuesday. — HNS

Kathmandu: To provide information on constituent assembly (CA), the Tribhuvan University (TU) central library is planning to create a “Constituent Assembly Corner” on the library premises from Friday. Krishna Mani Bhandary, chief librarian at TU central library, said many people do not know about CA. “Even I got to know about it after I read a book a politician gave me,” he said.— HNS
