SLC results published

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Education and Sports, Examinations Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, on Thursday published the results of the supplementary SLC examinations held on Shrawan 5-12. Among the 87,773 examinees, 69,307 students or 78.96 per cent have pa-ssed the exams. The results can also be viewed at www.doe.gov.np. — RSS.

Illegal goods seized

Kathmandu: The Armed Police Force has seized illegal goods worth Rs 1.1 million from different parts of Jhapa and Morang districts within the month of Shrawan. The police force said APF patrol unit at Kakarvitta Customs and APF’s Pathivara Battalion confiscated contraband worth Rs 951,900 in Jhapa. Similarly, APF’s revenue patrol unit in Biratnagar has seized contrabands worth Rs 311,575 during the same period. — HNS
