Health check-up

KATHMANDU: The Centre for Integrated Development Nepal (CIDP) organised a health check-up programme for street children here on Saturday. The CIDP also distributed clothes to them at the programme organised to mark the 41st National Children’s Day. Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Durga Shrestha gave away letters of appreciation to various organisations and personalities for their contribution to the uplift of street children. — HNS

Chinese team in City

KATHMANDU: Minister for Education and Sports Radhakrishna Mainali met a 14-member youth delegation from China, headed by the vice-chairman of the People’s Political Consultative Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region,Thundup, on Sunday. The delegation is in Nepal to mark the golden jubilee of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Nepal and China. — RSS

Mind management

KATHMANDU: Thirty people attended a two-day mind management workshop organised by the Executive Director of the Indian Institute of Mind Management and Universal Spiritual Centre, Acharya Swami Shree Dhruv, in Kathmandu. He lectured on how to establish proper tuning of mind, body and spirit. — HNS
