Plane awaits nod to fly

Kathmandu: Even though the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) had given permission to an Austrian aircraft to fly out of Nepal on Thursday, the aircraft is still at the TIA as it has not received clearance from the Indian authorities to fly to India, a TIA official said. The aircraft was forced to land at the TIA for flying over Nepal’s airspace without permission on Monday.
