Book on King

KATHMANDU: The King has always acted within the laws of Nepal and law experts are wrong to say he breached the constitution, Kirti Nidhi Bista, the vice chairman of the council of ministers, said while releasing a book Raj Samstha Ra Shree Paanch Gyanendra. The book, a collection of several articles, was published by the Granth Prakashan Samiti to mark the King’s 59th birthday. — HNS

Training on security

KATHMANDU: A security training organised by the Community Police Service and Community Services Committee, Bauddha, concluded on Sunday. Speaking at the concluding function, the chief of the Valley Police Office, DIG Krishna Basnet, said the police have been able to control crimes because of the assistance from the civil society.
