Jet Airways’ ‘move’

KATHMANDU: Jet Airways is to temporarily stall its Kathmandu-Delhi operation effective from June 1, according to an aviation source. However, the source declined to give reasons for the discontinuation of the operation. — HNS

Blast at Baneshwor

KATHMANDU: A powerful bomb exploded on Friday evening inside the premises of the Tea and Coffee Development Board at New Baneshwor. Police said the walls of the office collapsed following to the blast. Windowpanes, glasses and furniture were damaged in the two-storied building. However, no-one was hurt. — HNS

Teams scale peaks

Kathmandu: Two members and four climbers of Arun International Everest Expedition team scaled Mt Everest on May 21, said Arun Treks and Expedition. Two members and one climber of Bhrikuti Expedition 2005 scaled the 6364 metre high Mt Bhrikuti on May 16 and four members of International Himlung Expedition 2005 team scaled the 7126 metre Mt Himlung on May 19. — HNS
