SC nixes custody plea

Kathmandu: The Supreme Court today declined to intervene in a case of custody rights plea of a mother over her children. A division bench of justices Bhairav Prasad Lamsal and Paramananda Jha said that the case is under hearing in the Kathmandu District Court and so the apex court could not intervene in the matter. — HNS

Nepal-Korea culture pact

KATHMANDU: Nepal and South Korea have agreed to a bilateral cooperation in culture, art, education, youth, sports and tourism. The agreement will come into effect a month after it has been signed and will be renewed every five years. — RSS

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University office of the Controller of Examination, Balkhu, has published the results of MA first year Buddhist studies and MA first year political science held this year under the faculty of humanities and social sciences, and also of f MA second year political science (except thesis) and the post-graduate diploma in Buddhist studies (except thesis). — RSS
