KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was injured when a motorcycle hit him at Sallaghari of Bhaktapur district on Monday.

The injured has been identified as Upas Prakash Jaiswal (37) of Bihar in India, informed police.

According to police, Jaiswal was injured when the motorcycle (Ba 44 Pa 182) hit him at around 6 pm yesterday.

Police said is being treated at the Yuwa Mora Hospital in Bhaktapur for the injuries.

The Metropolitan Police Range Jagati has taken the motorcyclist into custody for further investigation.
