KATHMANDU: A person, who was injured in a protester-police clash in Bethari of Rupandehi district around a month ago, died in the course of treatment in Kathmandu on Friday.

Sohawati Urau (52) from Hattibangain-1 of the district was undergoing treatment at the Kathmandu Medical College Hospital in Sinamangal.

Urau, a cadre of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), had sustained injuries in a clash with police on September 15.

He was admitted to the Hospital on September 30.
