KATHMANDU, JULY 22
The Council of Ministers has appointed journalist Jagdishwar Pandey as Press Advisor to Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal.
Pandey will serve in the role with the rank and facilities equivalent to Secretary (Special Class), according to the government.
Pandey brings extensive experience in journalism, having served as founding editor of The Diplomat Nepal, a publication focused on diplomacy and foreign affairs. He has also worked with Kantipur Daily and The Himalayan Times, covering foreign policy, defence, politics, international development and sports.
He holds a master's degree in English Literature from Tribhuvan University.
