Jajarkot man arrested for robbery

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a burglar for his alleged involvement in a robbery case from Kalanki on Sunday morning.

Suman Bishwakarma (25), a permanent resident of Nyal-8 in Rautahat district, had attacked an 18-year-old youth with knife on head and robbed a mobile phone set and Rs 20,000 cash from his possession last night, said police.

Bishwakarma had robbed Prakash Adhikari, a permanent resident of Jajarkot, while he was walking on the road at Khasi Bazaar in Kalanki.

Injured in the incident, Adhikari was rushed to Kirtipur Model Hospital for treatment.

Further investigation is underway.
