KATHMANDU: Former General Secretary of National Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN), Aang Kaji Sherpa, who was arrested on charge of posting contents on Facebook intended at jeopardising social harmony, has been released on bail.

Earlier, the District Court Kathmandu had ordered for his release on a bail of Rs 20,000, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dinesh Acharya.

He was arrested on September 2 from the Capital.

Police have filed a lawsuit under the cyber crime-related law against him.
