Senior journalist Ram Krishna Pandey died of a heart attack at his residence at Gyaneshwor today. He was 68.

His body was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat this afternoon. Late Pandey had served at the National News Agency for 30 years as a reporter and a senior editor before retiring in 1992.

Pandey is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.
