July 20, 21 public holidays

KATHMANDU: The government has announced two days of public holidays on July 20 and 21 for seeking suggestions for the new constitution from the people. According to government spokesperson Minendra Rijal, the Cabinet meeting decided on Friday to declare public holidays for two days as the CA has decided to seek public suggestions organising public hearings at all the 240 election constituencies of the country on July 20 and 21.

CA started sending all the CA members to their respective election constituencies for collecting suggestions on Friday.

Rijal said the holidays would be effective for all the educational institutions, government and semi-government offices and public corporations except essential services and civil servants deployed for collecting suggestions.
