Kalash Yatra held in Bankok
Kathmandu, August 18:
The World Hindu Federation (WHF) held a Shanti Kalash Yatra at Durga Mandir in Thangam, Bangkok, on Monday to mark the silver jubilee of its establishment. According to a WHF release issued today, hundreds of Hindus attended the programme. The Kalash YatraYatra was taken to Sri Trinath Devalaya at Srifort in Bangkok. The Shanti Kalash had been handed over to Bharat Keshar Simha, president of the World Hindu Federation, by King Gyanendra in Kathmandu on April 17. Simha handed over the Kalash to the National Chapter of WHF in Bangkok.
