Kanti to get upgraded
KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population Umakant Chaudhary today said the government is planning to develop the Kanti Children’s Hospital as an academy.
Speaking at a function organised to mark the 48th anniversary of the hospital, the minister said the government plans to develop it as the central children’s hospital and expand the bed capacity of the hospital from the current 300 beds to 500 beds. He said the country has made significant achievements in the field of child health and has got accolades from the international committee for it.
