KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 26

Kathmandu Metropolitan City is administrating the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19 from today.

According to a notice issued by the metropolis, the vaccination campaign to administer a second dose to those who have completed the eight weeks after their first jab of AstraZeneca, will be held for two days till October 27.

Those who are eligible have been urged to visit various hospitals to receive the jab today.

Meanwhile, the receivers will have to visit any one of the 32 wards of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on October 27 for the purpose.

Additionally, people will also be able to get their second dose from additional vaccination centres established in Birendra Army Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Bir Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, and Paropakar Hospital.

KMC authorities have urged all eligible to visit the centres with the vaccination card received during their first jab and electronic registration documents which can be availed from the website vaccine.mohp.gov.np.

The vaccination will begin from 10:00 am and last till 4:00 pm.

The metropolis has also urged all to receive their vaccine while following health guidelines.
