KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 27

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to inoculate all the citizens above 18 years with AstraZeneca anti-Covid-19 vaccine from all 32 wards of the district starting Monday.

The decision was made in a meeting of District Vaccination Coordination and Monitoring Committee, and Province Health Office held on Sunday.

Those eligible to get vaccinated will have to carry their identity card and electronic registration number in order to receive the jab.

The vaccines can be received at designated vaccination centres, while maintaining safety protocols.

Seven additional centres have been included in the pre-existing list, which are- Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj; Armed Police Force Hospital, Balambu; Bir Hospital, Ratnapark; Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj; Civil Hospital, Baneshwor; Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital, Thapathali; and Shree Birendra Sainik Hospital, Chhauni.

The time scheduled for this round of inoculation is 10 am to 4 pm.
