Kathmandu Metropolitan City has designated 15 health facilities to run the vaccination booths for the upcoming phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive that is starting from March 7 throughout the country.

This phase of the vaccination drive -- targeted for persons above 55 years in age; university professors, teachers and staff members; and drivers, assistant drivers of public vehicles -- is scheduled from March 7 to 12.

Persons who are eligible from the 32 wards of KMC will have to visit the vaccination booths assigned to their respective wards. They will have to carry their national identification card (with a photo) which discloses the age of the individual -- citizenship card, voters identity card, or driver's licence. Likewise, professors, teachers and educational staffers will have to bring along their identification cards.

Meanwhile, public vehicle drivers and assistant drivers will have to furnish a recommendation letter along with their identification card with a photo attached on it.
