KMC reviewing 100 days performance of its wards

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has urged all its 32 wards to send their significant activities that were completed from May 31 to August 31 to make public the achievements in the 100 days after appointment of people’s representatives.

A letter issued by the mayor’s secretariat Chief Namaraj Dhakal on August 22 has ordered all wards, departments, programmes, projects, secretariats and units to submit all the significant works that were completed after the appointment of peoples’ representatives through local elections.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya made public his first 100 days of work such as increasing monthly social security allowance, providing free wifi at major religious, cultural and tourism destinations inside Kathmandu Metropolitan City, making Kathmandu a city where people do not have to go around wearing  masks, among 101 of his targets.
