KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu University has felicitated Prof Dr Anthony J Onwuegbuzie, an American professor, for his contribution in the area of Education Leadership and Mixed Methods Research, amid a programme organised on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of University on Thursday.

In a special program organised at the Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), the KUSOED Dean Prof Mahesh Nath Parajuli felicitated Prof Onwuegbuzie for his contribution in the sector.

On the occasion, Prof Onwuegbuzie also delivered a lecture on “Contemporary Conceptual Issues and Applications in Mixed Methods Research”.

Prof Onwuegbuzie is working in the Department of Educational Leadership at Sam Houston State University in the United States.

He is the President of Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA) and has published more than 400 works, including more than 300 journal articles, 50 book chapters, and five books.

Earlier, Prof Onwuegbuzie and KUSOED's Assistant Professor Dr Prakash C Bhattarai had facilitated a training programme on the issue for representatives of various Nepali institutions and organisations.
