KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 25

Kathmandu Valley is currently experiencing cloudy weather due to the influence of a westerly low-pressure system and westerly winds. However, this system is expected to clear by this afternoon, bringing relatively clearer weather compared to Tuesday.

The current temperature in the valley is recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius, with the maximum temperature likely to range between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology forecasts partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions of the country over the next 24 hours, with a chance of light snowfall in some mountainous areas.

The Department has also advised caution due to foggy conditions expected in parts of the Terai and the Valley on Thursday morning.
