KATHMANDU: Nepal Representative of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Kevin Allen* met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's official residence, in Baluwatar on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the PM's Secretariat, Allen briefed PM Dahal about the UN's proposal to solve the problem of Bhutanese refugees in Nepal.

In the meeting, he also assured Dahal that the problem would soon be resolved.

In response, Dahal thanked the UN official for the effort made by the UNHCR.

PM Dahal also told Allen that the country would develop towards the path of prosperity,  ensuring peace and stability with the implementation of Constitution.
