Khum Bahadur Khadka on top again as 353 votes counted

KATHMANDU: Khum Bahadur Khadka reappeared on top of the chart as the Nepali Congress Election Committee counted 353 votes from the election held to elect 25 Central Working Committee members of the party under the open category.

The election was held on Sunday.

Counting of votes for the CWC members had begun on Wednesday at the party headquarters Sanepa of Lalitpur.

As many as 90 contenders are vying for the 25 positions.

Meanwhile, the Election Committee has been counting votes for the CWC member under the Muslim reservation quota also.
