Kin accuse Maoist leadership of hand in Ramhari killing
Kathmandu January 26:
Family members of Koteshwor-based slain businessman Ramhari Shrestha today claimed that the Maoist leadership was involved in his murder.
Issuing a press statement, Shrestha’s wife Ramila and brother Shyam Kaji said promotion of Kali Bahadur Kham aka Bibidh, who was accused of murdering Shrestha, to the central committee of the Unified CPN (Maoist) had made it clear that the Maoist leadership was involved in the murder.
The family members demanded the Maoist party to roll back its decision to promote Bibidh and take legal action against him.
“Or else, we will be compelled to take to the streets to seek justice,” the press release stated.
Meanwhile, issuing a joint press statement, seven different sister organisations of CPN-UML also demanded legal action against Bibidh.
