Kathmandu, June 22 :

A 15-member committee of the Kirant Rai Sanskritik Kalakar Sangh has been formed today

under the chairmanship of senior artist Jiten Rai, a press statement issued today said.

The Sangh aims to promote and preserve the age-old Kirant tradition.

The Sangh would conduct research on Kiranti tradition and civilisation for preservation of one of the oldest civilisations in the country, the statement adds.
