KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 566,000 was stolen from a house in Kirtipur of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Police said the thieves broke into the house of Ramesh Man Shrestha and stole Rs 20,000 cash, gold and silver ornaments from a cupboard, in Maitrinagar, Kirtipur Municipality-2 of Kathmandu yesterday.

While looking for suspects, police are investigating into the case.
