KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 27
The City Planning Commission of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has prepared the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for 84 projects in the current fiscal year.
These include 37 heritage-related projects, 13 focused on greenery and park development, and 33 infrastructure projects, with an estimated total cost of approximately Rs 1.06 billion, according to Dhana Bahadur Basnet, Chief of the Commission's Secretariat.
KMC has scheduled its 16th municipal assembly meeting for December 29.
As part of the review of the approved programs for the current fiscal year, the budget formulation committee has intensified discussions on programs facing implementation challenges and is considering new initiatives to replace them.
