KATHMANDU, JANUARY 18
Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah, has tendered his resignation.
According to the Mayor's Secretariat, he submitted his resignation to Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, effective immediately.
Stating that the decision was made voluntarily, Shah noted in his resignation letter that he had endeavoured to work with integrity for the betterment of the metropolitan city and its residents throughout his tenure.
