KATHMANDU: Yadav Prasad Koirala has been appointed the Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Prior to this, Koirala was serving as the acting Chief Secretary to the Province 1 government. He was transferred by a cabinet decision.

Koirala replaces Dhaniram Sharma, who has been appointed as the Chief of Large Tax Payers' Office under the Ministry of Finance.
