KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the CPN-UML Chairman and main opposition leader KP Sharma Oli was positive about the Constitution amendment at the earliest.

Dahal said so after the two leaders held a meeting to discuss contemporary political issues, at the Parliament building, Naya Baneshwor this afternoon.

The two top leaders had discussed various issues for around 45 minutes, according to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

After the Federal Alliance served a 15-day ultimatum to the government on Monday demanding the amendment, the Prime Minister has expedited talks with leaders of ruling and opposition parties in a bid to forge consensus for the same.
