Oli recalls 'betrayal in love affair' with Dahal
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said he was betrayed by CPN Maoist Centre Chairman and new Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal while they were moving together.
Oli's comments came just three days after Dahal was elected the Prime Minister replacing him.
Speaking at a function organised on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki bomb attack, in Kathmandu on Saturday, Oli said he was unseated after he partnered Dahal, who would "have a love affair wherever he would go."
"The friend would have a love wherever he reach. If he reached Madhes, there would be his love; if in hill, there too," Oli said, "Last year, he loved me too, but betrayed (now)."
Meanwhile, Oli also stressed the need to free the world from terror of lethal arms and weapons.
