KATHMANDU: A man died after a truck he was driving hit motorcycle at Takhel, Bajrabarahi-11 of Lalitpur district on Wednesday.

The accident happened along the Chapagaun-Bhattedanda road section when the minitruck (Ba 1 Ka 7397) hit the two-wheeler (Ba 18 Pa 421).

Following the collision, the driver of the truck, Dhiraj KC, also a local resident, fell 20 feet below the road, and sustained injuries.

He was rushed to the Patan Hospital for treatment, but breathed his last on the way.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle rider, Uttam Bajgain, who also has sustained injuries, has been sent to the Aanandaban Hospital, Tikabhairav, Lalitpur for further treatment, the police said.
