Leader Nepal fears public upset over govt's inability to curb corruption
KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) senior leader and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal remarked that the incumbent government has failed to control corruption in the country.
Addressing the parliament today, leader Nepal noted that although public expect a corruption-free-society, the government has failed to deliver.
Moreover, Nepal pointed out that contractors are swindling money appropriated for developmental activities without any guilt and victimising the public.
"Public discontent against the government will rise with time, if such irregularities prevail," he added.
