BHAKTAPUR: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam on Monday inquired about the health condition of Minister for Industry Mahesh Basnet who is undergoing treatment at the Citizens Community Hospital in Gatthaghar of Bhaktapur.

DPM Gautam reached the Hospital this afternoon to take stock of the health status of Basnet, who underwent an appendicitis surgery on Sunday.

Also today, CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Secretary Pradeep Gyawali and leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha, among others, inquired about Minister Basnet's health situation.

Hospital's Director Gopi Neupane briefed that Minister Basnet is recuperating and his treatment will continue at the Hospital for four more days.
