KATHMANDU: The ruling Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has appointed Rajendra Lingden and Dhawal Shamsher Rana as party general secretaries.

Issuing a a statement, the party's Co-spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said that party Chairman Kamal Thapa appointed Lingden of Jhapa and Rana of Banke in the vacant positions as per the party statute.

RPP-Nepal is a key ally in the ruling coalition. The party chairman, Thapa, is one of the Deputy Prime Ministers with the portfolio of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
